Stage 7: Rifugio Vazzoler to Passo Duran

About This Hike

This scenic stage of the Alta Via 1 traverses the wild and dramatic landscapes of the Civetta group, descending from Rifugio Vazzoler (1,714 m) through rocky alpine terrain and forests to reach Passo Duran (1,601 m). It's a moderately short stage that offers impressive rock towers, quiet paths, and access to the towering face of Moiazza. Though not very long, the hike is rich in alpine character, transitioning from the rugged high mountains to more accessible valleys.
