About This Hike
Shinshoji, located on Houjuzan in Muroto, is perched on a hillside overlooking the sea. It is known as the “Harbor Temple,” guiding sailors safely to shore. The trail here is about 2 km and takes an hour. We recommend this hike for its beautiful seaside views and maritime history.
