About This Hike
Jurakuji stands on Koumyouzan in Awa. Built in the 8th century, it is named “Temple of Ten Joys” and symbolizes happiness in Buddhist teachings. The trail here runs about 3 km and takes 1.5 hours. We recommend this hike because it’s gentle and uplifting, surrounded by peaceful rural scenery.
