About This Hike
Leaving Vidette Meadow, the trail begins its final major climb. It ascends through Bighorn Plateau and high alpine terrain toward Guitar Lake, the last major campsite before the Mt. Whitney summit. Views widen dramatically as you approach the Sierra Crest.
