This scenic stage includes a climb to Glen Pass, which offers commanding views of Rae Lakes and the rugged peaks of Kings Canyon. After the pass, a steep descent leads through alpine forest into Vidette Meadow—a sheltered, wooded campsite below towering granite walls.
