Stage 10 ascends through one of the most awe-inspiring stretches of the JMT. From the meadows of Evolution Valley, the trail follows Evolution Creek into a granite basin filled with glacial lakes before reaching Muir Pass and the iconic stone Muir Hut—built as a refuge in extreme alpine conditions.
