About This Hike
Snowmass Mountain is one of the more remote and scenic 14ers, often climbed as a multi-day backpacking trip. Its east face often holds snow late into summer, giving the peak its name. The standard route involves off-trail travel, a snowfield crossing, and Class 3 scrambling.
