Ausangate

About This Hike

Located near Cusco, Peru, Ausangate is one of the most important 'apus' (sacred spirits) in Quechua tradition. The 70-km loop around the mountain features glacial lakes, rainbow-colored hills, hot springs, and remote alpaca herder communities. It's a physically demanding trek with spiritual significance, often completed in 4–6 days.
